Re: Compatibility with latest SDR#

Hi,

something's broken in the wrapper. I'm working on a fix and will release a new version as soon as I can.

Re: begin a stream transfer synchronously?

Sorry for the late reply. The trickiest part is when you want to change the sample rate on the fly. You may run into buffer overflow issues. To stop the streaming, I simply used a boolean value shared between the threads (main thread sets it and the thread responsible of streaming only reads it). In...

Re: begin a stream transfer synchronously?

Why don't you start the synchronous transfer in a dedicated thread so that it doesn't block your program? Then based on the timestamp, you can choose to discard the samples if you don't need them or write them to a file or to whatever destination you need :)

Re: C# and BladeRF

Have looked at the way I use it in my code in order to compare with your code? https://github.com/jmichelp/sdrsharp-bladerf/blob/master/BladeRF/BladeRFDevice.cs#L321 When it crashes, it basically means that something wrong happened in the native code. This can happen in 2 cases I think: Passing wron...

Re: C# and BladeRF

If you took it from my repository (https://github.com/jmichelp/sdrsharp-bladerf), there's no copyright issue at all. I think I've never found what kind of license is compatible with SDRSharp now that they are closed-source and then I was focused on development and forgot to set one. You can safely a...

Re: No device attached

Considering the power is present but the device is not seen, even through dmesg, I would say the problem is either the USB cable or the USB connector on the bladeRF that might be partially damaged. I'm not familiar enough with the Cypress FX3 to say if missing firmware would also show the same sympt...

Re: Transverter Board Installed, No Signal in via SDRConsole

Do you mean that SDR# is missing some features or do you mean that the BladeRF plugin for SDR# is missing things?
In the latter case, please, open bugs for feature request on GitHub and I'll do my best to integrate them.

Re: SDRsharp and sound recording

The issue between low and high sample rates are mostly due to buffer size tweaking. Improving the UI is also part of the plan. I want to have a basic UI for most of the settings you need to adjust and an "expert mode" UI with more settings, including the configuration of buffers for low, medium and ...

Re: SDRsharp and sound recording

I probably forgot to implement some interfaces.

I will have a look at that in January. I also have couple of new features I would like to implement as well.

Re: Signals appear multiple times

I think you're looking at the wrong timestamp :)
2013 is the year jinik joined this forum. But this thread is pretty recent (initial post from Nov 04, 2015)
