Transmit and receive in all channels

Post by jonathan.ruby »

Hello everyone

I have a bladeRF micro xA4 and writing a software to transmit and receive in 2 different frequencies (1810MHz and 3500Mhz, allowed in France)

I need to be sure that I can do this with only 1 bladeRF
In bladeRF documentation for

Code: Select all

bladerf_stream
(https://nuand.com/libbladeRF-doc/v2.5.0 ... ceb1e27faf) it says that only 1 RX and 1 TX may be running at once.

Could it be doable?

You can have both RX's receive simultaneously however I believe they must have the same carrier frequency.
The two TX can also transmit simultaneously but they also will be at the same carrier frequency.

Indeed, for simultaneous reception, the RXs need to have the same carrier frequency. Similarly, simultaneous transmission from two TXs would also require them to operate at the same carrier frequency.
