Not sure why but using the setup.txt with only the rx settings I am unable to expand the rx bandwith past 28MHz...

Yeah, the low pass filters only allow for a maximum of 28MHz bandwidth (14MHz LPF on each I and Q) - or to bypass the LPF.
Are you looking to bypass the LPF on the input?

Yes, I want to be able to have a larger rx BW so I can see more than one wifi channel. However since wifi channels are pretty much the largest in BW when it comes to signals I can handle just keeping the 28MHz.
