oxmocom bladerf memory allocation

Hi All,
I am running into an error regarding Jackd and memory allocation, I think:
Cannot lock down 82280346 byte memory area (Cannot allocate memory)
I am using the osmocom source and the bladeRF A4
Additionally, can anyone tell me what the jackd application does?
