Attenuators and Dummy Loads

Post by jynik »

We're generally recommend that folks keep a 50-ohm termination on the bladeRF TX port when not using it to avoid any mishaps, and using attenuators when connecting SDRs together directly via SMA cables.

I recently purchased some from MiniCircuits.com and am happy with them -- just wanted to share some links:

$50 kit with 3, 6, 10, 20, and 30 dB attenuators : http://www.minicircuits.com/pdfs/K1-VAT+.pdf

30 dB, 50-ohm termination for $10: http://www.minicircuits.com/pdfs/ANNE-50+.pdf
