Hi all,
When receiving around 5.8GHz, we notice noise corresponding to powerful signals from the 2.4GHz band. Eg if there's a 1ms 20MHz powerful signal around 2450MHz every 10ms, when monitoring 55MHz around 5800MHz, we'll see a jump in the noise floor for 1ms every 10ms.
Does that mean we must use always use a band pass filter? Is there anything else to do?
We have other SDRs like LimeSDR that do not have that issue.
Thanks

In my opinion, there is no alternative option available for this situation.

The noise problem may be lessened by using a band pass filter. The filter can lower interference from signals in the 2.4GHz band and increase the signal-to-noise ratio at 5scratch games.8GHz by filtering out frequencies that are outside of the targeted range. By doing this, you can lessen the noise's negative effects on your reception.
