BladeRF TDD Operation

Post by altun »

I want to operate the bladeRF device in TDD mode in the 3.5GHz band. I will feed the transmission output of the bladeRF as an input to a Power Amplifier (PA) that has TDD capabilities and can perform RX-TX switching. Due to the nature of TDD technology, the PA requires a signal that switches the RX-TX states synchronously with the transmit and receive time slots. I believe I need to obtain this switching signal from the bladeRF.

How can we achieve this? Should I use a GPIO signal on the bladeRF? I am asking because there is currently no specific, dedicated signal output on the bladeRF for TDD switching.

Best Regards,

Drift Boss is a very fast one-tap arcade drifter game where you hold down or release a single input to keep your car flying along an endless, ever-narrowing track. If you drift too far, your car will fall into the void.
